Commission Info

Thank you for your interest in my work!

Please contact me for an exact quote. Because illustrations can range in content and detail, the best way to get a price is to simply tell me what you’d like made for you, and how you plan on using the artwork. Below are guidelines on what to expect so you have an idea before deciding!

All prices listed above are in USD. Please keep in mind that these are only guidelines and the complexity of your illustration may warrant more time to be spent to create it, therefore priced at a higher price point. My prices are based on demand for my work, my skill level and experience, and the time it will take me to finish the piece. Another common thing to consider is associated fees with transferring payments (such as Paypal) that need to be accounted for.

As a rough idea, most people are quoted $325 for a character design, and $1550 for a full illustration, depending on the details and complexity.

I always ask for 50% of project’s cost up front, and then 50% upon it’s finish. If you’re project is of the larger variety, we can discuss on how to split the payments to be more comfortable to you.

What Information Do I Need to Start your Illustration?

The more information you can provide to me about your idea, the better! I welcome character backstories, images of things you like that you found in an internet search, color swatches/patterns, and even badly-drawn sketches - anything helps when describing your idea! I promise I won’t judge you.

I’m also happy to use artistic freedom at your request to fill in the details you might be unsure of - many people ask me to do this.

What Can You Expect?

Please view the illustrations on this website to get in idea of style, color, line quality and narrative elements. You can expect your illustration to come out looking similar to these, unless you specifically ask for another style. Many of the designs in Character Design are characters belonging to others like you who have commissioned me to make them.

During the process of making your piece, I will keep in touch with you and send you sketches and other drafts (if applicable) for you to approve. You can make changes to the piece during the revisions, and when all problems are solved, I’ll finish it, and email it to you!

Turnaround times are dependent on how many other commissions I have at the moment. I can give you an estimation on timing when we chat. Compared to my peers, I finish illustrations on the faster end. If your request has been placed on my waiting list I will let you know and you can check the status of that here.

I look forward to making you an awesome illustration!
